On May 18th, 2023, CannaWorkforce Solutions reflects on a remarkable and action-packed day at the Cannabis Industry Summit 2023. The event was hosted by the Cannabis Insider and took place at The Desmond Hotel in Albany, NY. It was a melting pot of minds – from seasoned growers and processors to visionary retailers, legal experts, and even policymakers - who all gathered for a full day of networking, venting, and problem-solving within the cannabis industry.
The morning began with the opportunity for attendees to air grievances, while sharing their challenges, perspectives, and stories. It was an unfiltered glimpse into the trials and tribulations faced by those navigating the cannabis landscape. The afternoon was then dedicated to proposing solutions to the problems presented. It included breakout sessions and engaging panel discussions which spanned the spectrum of cannabis industry operations, from retail operations to the complex web of ever-evolving regulations. There were also lightning-round business consultations, in which attendees had the chance to sit down with experts in fields ranging from accounting to legal matters, obtaining personalized advice for their specific business challenges. As the day transitioned into evening, there was a happy hour to celebrate accomplishments and new beginnings, fostering a sense of community among all in attendance.
