CannaWorkforce Solutions Expands Influence in the New York State Dispensary Showroom Tour

On June 2nd, 2023, Maggie Shea and other members of the CannaWorkforce Solutions team attended the NYS Dispensary Showroom Tour in West Seneca, NY. The event was hosted by the Bronx Community, Dutchie, Temeka, KayaPush, and the Canna Workforce Initiative, in partnership with additional organizations. The tour took place over two days and was a great opportunity for emerging cannabis employees to learn more about the cannabis industry. It included a workforce development fair, community networking, educational workshops, and professional training. 

During this immersive tour, participants had the chance to gain invaluable insights directly from the pioneering squads behind New York State's inaugural CAURD licensed dispensaries. With a meticulous dissection of state compliance protocols, an exploration of prevailing legal frameworks, and an in-depth examination of regulations, attendees were empowered with the knowledge necessary to navigate this developing industry. Guiding this enlightening session was the expert facilitation of the Office of Cannabis Management, ensuring an authoritative and comprehensive learning experience. 

Armed with her expertise in recruiting in the cannabis industry, Maggie Shea, partner of CannaWorkforce Solutions, fostered connections between multiple cannabis businesses and aspiring professionals in attendance.
